Preschool – Kindergarten (Sunflower Class)

At All Vergens Baby Haven, we recognize the kindergarten years as a pivotal stage where curiosity matures into capability. Our Sunflower Class is intentionally structured to build strong academic foundations while nurturing confident, independent learners ready for primary school.

Strong Academic Focus (EYFS-Aligned) — Our curriculum is grounded in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, with practical, age-appropriate instruction in early reading, phonics, writing, numeracy, and logical reasoning. Lessons are delivered through hands-on activities that make learning meaningful and measurable.

Language, Literacy & Numeracy Mastery — Children develop clear communication skills, early writing confidence, number fluency, and problem-solving abilities through guided instruction, structured tasks, and daily practice — preparing them for formal classroom learning.

Critical Thinking & Independence — We encourage children to ask questions, follow instructions, complete tasks independently, and take responsibility for their learning. This builds focus, resilience, and confidence — key skills required in primary school.

Learning Through Purposeful Practice — While play remains essential, it is intentional and curriculum-driven. Role play, projects, group work, and practical exploration are carefully designed to reinforce academic concepts and real-world understanding.

Personal, Social & Emotional Development — In line with EYFS principles, we continue to nurture emotional intelligence, teamwork, leadership, and respect for others, ensuring children are not only academically ready, but socially prepared for the next stage of their education.

At All Vergens, our kindergarten learners are guided to think, express, reason, and achieve. We work closely with parents to ensure each child transitions into primary school with confidence, competence, and a genuine love for learning.
